Twitter Theme Design
If you have been using Twitter then you may of noticed that it allows you to have a custom background. Although this is very limited it does allow you to have a customised feel on your twitter page.
It's not that good if you are viewing it on a small monitor / resolution but it's better than nothing. You will often find the page looks a lot better on a bigger monitor / resolution but if a designer keeps in mind that it will look bad on a smaller monitor then they can design with the smaller monitor in mind. It should then look great on smaller screens and larger screens.
You can have your design spread far and it will be visible on larger screens and smaller screens. You will just see a lot less of the design on a smaller screen so it's important to get the key points small enough to be viewed on all screens and positioned so it will be seen regardless of small screens.
If you take a look at the examples below you will see what I mean. Notice how the text and things are on the left and not too large? This allows for them to be visible even when the browser is resized or they are on a smaller monitor.
